25+ year technology leader joins the IRIS Board

London, UK May 20, 2024 IRIS Software Group (IRIS), a leading global software provider of accounting, edtech, HR and payroll solutions, today announced the appointment of Chris Jurasek as non-executive director. Today’s appointment follows the recent appointment of Gus Malezis as non-executive chair

Chris Jurasek is an American investor and business executive with more than 25 years of experience working for leading global software and industrial technology companies, with significant experience in technology, professional services and corporate governance.

“I’m honored to assume the non-executive director role at IRIS Software Group,” said Chris Jurasek upon appointment. “IRIS’ incredible vision and leadership are inspiring, and I’m eager to build on this solid foundation and on IRIS’ continued investment in innovative solutions that cater to its global customer base.”

Chris is the current CEO of English football club Chelsea F.C. Over the past decade, Chris has also served as operating executive with Clearlake Capital, holding multiple President, CEO and board member roles, including at technology firm EagleView, where he was appointed executive chairman last May following three years as CEO.

Prior to that, Chris was President and CEO for Calero Software, creating a leader in the Telecom Expense Management industry, having previously transformed the way consumers buy private aviation as President of JetSmarter. Earlier in his career, Chris held executive leadership roles at TE Connectivity, ADC Telecommunications, and Rexnord Corporation.

“Chris is exceptionally skilled at helping businesses drive operational excellence, deliver stellar financial outcomes, enhance employee engagement, and achieve sustainable competitive advantages. We welcome his counsel and support on our board as we continue to grow our business globally,” said Elona Mortimer-Zhika, CEO of IRIS.

Chris’ appointment follows the departure of Kevin Loosemore, who brought the board stellar operational leadership. Kevin joined IRIS as non-executive chair in 2017 and moved to non-executive director in 2019 when Kevin Dady became non-executive chair.
